The 6th AGKF Championships was contested by 700 participants over two very action packed days.

Scheduled for 5/6 October at Stellenbosch University D.F.Malan Hall, the 2012 AGKF Championships will be a fiercely contested event as this will be the last opportunity to qualify for selection to the RSA Goju Ryu Team to compete at the WGKF 2013 Championships.
World Goju Ryu Karate Federation Chief Referee, Mr Uwe Portugall, visited Cape Town during February for the purpose of inspecting facilities and infrastructure to be used for the 2013 WGKF Championships. He has given his full approval.
