To celebrate our winning the bid to host the 2013 World Goju Ryu Karate Federation Championships, we launch our new logo as we welcome all new affiliates.
The logo expresses our uniqueness by symbolising in colour our African heritage.
The Black of the continent speaks of the Origins of Mankind of which knowledge is lost in time. Green represents the forests and jungles that sustain us while Orange represents the timeless desserts that have taught us patience and the will to survive. And of utmost importance, Gold speaks of the hearts of all our people.
The Lion icon symbolises COURAGE and honours the founder of Goju Ryu, Master Chojun Miyagi, known as The Lion of Okinawa.
